Multi award winning documentary
We were given access to film life with the FDNY explaining the importance of the firehouse to them.
The film also includes emotional in-depth studio interviews with some of the firefighters as they recount the horrors of that day and life afterwards. This was the first time many of them had ever spoken on camera.
Marc Bolan- The Last Word
I filmed this BBC documentary of the life and music of the legendary musician Marc Bolan with Gloria Jones and producer Tony Visconti. This clip was shot in Visconti's studio as he explains how he recorded and mixed the iconic T Rex song "Ride a White Swan"
Keep on Running: Island records at 50
What a privilege to shoot this documentary for BBC 4.
We spent 2 weeks filming in Jamaica with the founder of Island records Chris Blackwell. He granted us access to many of Island's great artists, Black Uhuru, Toots and the Maytals, Ernest Ranglin and many more, as well as the legendary Tuff Gong Studios . We then went back to New York where I filmed U2, Melissa Etheridge and many others to make this documentary for BBC 4
